What's a word family?
Words with the same ending sounds make Word Families. With an initial consonant or blend they often make a word.
 
On each of 94 word family cards you'll find:
- A word family (also called a phonogram or rime)
- Color-coded pronunciation key:
Blue: short vowel sound
Green: lng vowel sound
Red: other vowel sound
 
- Example words: one on the front and four on back. Think of more and extend the learning!
 
2 Activity / Tip Cards are included to make learning more fun.
