Bingo Ten Frame Game!
Aligns with Common Core and State Standards - CCSS

This bingo-style game is not about matching, it's about making 10!

Cover the numbered spots on the ladybug with the numbered pieces that together make ten! Cards feature ten-frames on one side for beginners, and numbers on the reverse for more advanced players. Fill your card and win!

Flip a spot over and think fast to make 10. Be the first player to fill your card, and win!

Object of the Game: Be the first player to cover your bug with spots while making 10, and win!

CCSS Alignment:

This game targets the following Common Core State Standards for Math in Kindergarten:

Operations and Algebraic Thinking: K.OA.A.3, K.OA.A.4

Setup:

1. Each player takes a game board. Players can choose individually which side to use for game play.

2. Place the spots in the middle of the table, black sides

3. Look at your board. Think carefully about what number you need to add to each space to make 10 (for example, your board has a number 3 space; since it takes 7 more to make 10, watch for the number 7 spot!). Begin play after all players have had a chance to examine their boards.

How to Play:

1. The youngest player goes fi rst. He or she fl ips a spot over and leaves it number-side up in the middle for everyone to see.

Includes 6 double-sided cards and 72 "spots" (pieces).

Cards measure 8" x 6" and spaces on cards are inset so spots stay in place.

Contents:

6 Double-sided cards (ten-frames on one side, numbers on reverse) and 72 spots
